Cubs
Cubs is open to young people aged between 8 and 10½. We meet every Friday and take part in a variety of activities such as crafts, challenges, team work, games, cooking and learn new skills.

We hold joint activities with the Beavers and Scouts at least once a term. We also like to hold activities away from our normal meeting place and enjoy going swimming (where Cubs can work towards their swimming badge) and visiting the theatre.

Cubs also get the opportunity to go camping every summer, while camping Cubs take part in activities such as Canoeing, Kayaking, wall climbing, crafts, campfires, archery and lots more fun and challenging activities.

If you’re interested in becoming a Cub with us at 19th Whitley Bay, then pop along to Eccles Hall on a Friday night between 6:45 – 8:30 where you can see what we get up too.
