Beavers
Beavers is open to young people aged between 5¾ and 8. We meet every Friday evening and take part in a range of activities such as crafts, cooking, games and first aid. In turn these meetings enable the beavers to achieve activity and challenge badges.

We hold joint activities with the Cubs and Scouts at least once a term and we also like to hold activities away from our normal meeting place such as going swimming and visiting the theatre.

We try to hold a sleepover at least once a year to build skills for when Beavers go camping in Cubs and Scouts. We also try to have day visits to the group Cub and Scout camps so Beavers can see what a Cub/Scout camp is all about before they get the opportunity to go themselves.

If you would like your son or daughter to join our Beaver Colony at 19th Whitley Bay, then bring them along to Eccles Hall on a Friday night between 5:30 – 6:30 where they can see what we get up too.
