About Our Group

19th Whitley Bay Scout Group is one of eleven Scout Groups within Whitley Bay and District Scouts. Situated in Earsdon Village on the outskirts of Whitley Bay our group meets in St Albans Church Hall - Eccles Hall. We have a Beaver, Cub and Scout section which all meet weekly at the Hall. Our group is coordinated and lead by Group Scout Leader (GSL) Sonia Hughes who is assisted by our Group Executive Committee.
Group Executive Commitee	Meeting Times
The Group Executive Committee is responsible for supporting the Group Scout Leader in the running and organisation of the group. Current members of the committee as elected at the last AGM are as follows: Group Chairman - John Jeffs Group Scout Leader - Sonia Hughes Treasurer - Alison Pillans Group Secretary - Helen Wrigley Scout Leader - Daniel Rogers Cub Scout Leader - Laura Beattie Beaver Scout Leader - Helen Hughes Sandra Billham Neil Pillans Joyce Taylor	All sections meet during term time at Eccles Hall, St Albans Church in Earsdon Village. Beavers - Friday nights 5:30pm - 6:30pm Cubs - Friday nights 6:45pm - 8:30pm Scouts - Thursday nights 7:00pm - 9:00pm
